Medscape is a rare and excellent source of information for health professionals generally. Registration is required (though free and open to anyone). The Registration process is short. I have found that after being registered the site recognizes (via a "cookie" on my computer) that I have permission to visit, without any need to log in with each visit. Also using the same computer I find I can get right to the article from a button such as I provide below without the need to log in. ITS USUALLY THAT SIMPLE!

HOWEVER, POSSIBLY: It might be necessary log in to medscape if you use different computers, or different browsers, or if you do not accept cookies on your computer. Consider also putting a bookmark on the medscape welcome page. You can always open your browser and verify that you are recognized or logged in first at the welcome page. THEREAFTER (if not before) you should be able to bring up any of these articles from the buttons I provide on the page of featured news items.

If clicking on the button provided does not bring up the article in a new window, then return to the welcome page of Medscape you have bookmarked and paste in the web address (also known as URL) which is displayed in small white directly below each button I provide. Select and copy this address and paste it into the address or location area at the top of your web browser. If you do this from Medscape's welcome page (which has already acknowledged or logged you in) you will definitely be taken right to the article of interest.
